Where did SalesPad come from?
Cars keep getting smarter, but offline presentations are still stuck with paper specs. The Salespad team combined 30+ years of automotive experience with software, AI and product design to ask a simple question:
What if every offline campaign had its own digital salesperson, running 24/7 and collecting data like an online campaign?
That idea became Salespad, an elegant stand with an iPad, a custom app and a cloud dashboard that makes every display measurable.
A Fiat Panda in Galeria Bronowice
The idea came during a walk through the mall: a Fiat Panda on display, paper leaflets and zero data on interest or campaign performance.
That moment triggered the question of how a real-world display could finally be measured.
Partner in crime
Auto Krak’s Head of Marketing, Damian Wanat, saw the same opportunity. Within a month, after alignment on UX and content, we launched a pilot next to a Mitsubishi Outlander on October 8th.
The solution
The physical setup was simple and premium: a 13” iPad and a matte black aluminium stand.
The interface was tailored to the car and location, optimized for ease of use, quick access to information and clarity.
In the background, Salespad Cloud collected and visualized all the data that previously didn’t exist.
- People count and average interaction time
- Click heatmaps and traffic patterns
- CTA opens and lead submissions
Learning fast
Week one revealed confusion and non-interactive taps. We removed three buttons and the cover ad, keeping only the most important CTAs. Engagement and intent rose immediately.
Week two brought shorter copy, a simpler layout (specs, hero banner, map) and animated CTAs. Conversion rates kept improving week over week.
How did Salespad perform?
Observation window: 6 October - 17 November.
- Over 1,700 people engaged
- 48,010 interactions (taps, scrolls, screen changes)
- Average interaction time: 1 minute 42 seconds
- 787 active people (more than a single screen)
- 206 people with a CTA action
- 76 total lead submissions
- 4.1% overall engagement → lead conversion
- 37% CTA → lead conversion
Client feedback
Auto Krak started calling Salespad “the silent salesperson”, always on, data-rich and ready to work. The marketing team valued the always-on presence, instant data for reporting and the ability to test messaging without reprinting materials.
Summary
This pilot proved that offline can be just as measurable as online, and that a well-designed kiosk turns a display into a real sales channel.
If you want to test a similar setup and finally see the data that used to be out of reach, let’s talk.
